History
Vincent Law, PLLC was founded with a clear and purposeful vision: Courtney A. Vincent aimed to be a dedicated and committed attorney who provides essential access, strong advocacy, and meaningful justice for those who are in need of reliable legal assistance and support. This goal comes from nearly 20 years in public education, where Attorney Vincent saw many students, families, and community members, especially in marginalized and low-income groups, struggle to understand the complex justice system. This confusion often resulted from a lack of understanding and misinformation about how the legal system works and what resources are available.

Attorney Vincent selected the University of Massachusetts, School of Law, Dartmouth, due to its robust commitment to Public Interest law, which aligns closely with her professional aspirations. Her dedication to public service, complemented by her background in the U.S. Army, earned her a four-year Public Interest Scholarship, facilitating her out-of-state education. Attorney Vincent attended law school later in life, providing her with an appreciation of the importance of real-world situations and the practical applications of the law in everyday life.
While in law school, she managed a full-time job at the Rhode Island Department of Education and later worked for the Providence Public School Department, overseeing the design and opening of two new high schools while attending classes at night. Attorney Vincent pursued law school later in life, gaining valuable insights into the real impacts of the law.
